Tip of the Month
Make
sure that your marketing materials are congruent with your speaking
fee. In other words, if you’re charging $10,000 for a speech,
your printed materials ought to reflect that fee. Forget about printing
your business cards on your computer. It may be convenient, but the
feel of a cheap business card in the hands of a prospective client
won’t go over well with many people. Invest in a linen or similar
stock that communicates success. Remember that no matter what topic
you speak on, we are all in the success business at one level or another.
Be sure that your marketing materials are representing you properly.
